What awards are there?
Since Wolda is a worldwide competition, it is divided into zones: The Americas, Europe and Africa, Asia and Oceania. The division depends on the number of entries.

Gold, Silver, Bronze: The jury will decide about awards in gold, silver and bronze.
Award of Excellence: In addition to gold, silver and bronze, there are Awards of Excellence, which are also recognised for outstanding work.
Certificates: Those who have won an award will receive a Pdf of this certificate. The Pdfs will be sent out at the end of January. They are free of charge.

What trophies are there?
The jury gives points for each submission. The work with the most points wins. The winners are always very close to each other. The certificates and trophies therefore differ only slightly. Everyone who receives an award can be very proud, because their work was selected from an international field of submissions. There are awards in Gold, Silver, Bronze and Awards of Excellence. It may be that a work is awarded the title “Best of Show”.
What do the certificates look like?
The certificates are in landscape format and have a size of approximately 42 cm by 29.7 cm (DIN A 3).
Pdfs of the certificate are available free of charge

Plexiglass trophies
The trophy is in portrait format and weighs approx. 900 grams. It has a format of about 15 by 20 by 2.5 cm. Each trophy is individually produced and the text is coordinated with the respective prize winner.
What does a trophy cost?
Trophies are handed out for a fee. They cost 120 euros per trophy plus transport and packaging. Before the trophy is produced, we will send you an invoice. Then it is clear what the total costs will be.
Is it possible to order trophies from older competitions?
Yes, it is possible to order trophies from older Wolda-Awards. It is best to send the certificate as a Pdf. Then we can easily find the year and category.
How to order the trophy?
You send an email to mail@wolda.org with the category and the name of the logo. We will then send you a layout and the invoice.
How do payments have to be made?
On the invoice a Paypal account is mentioned. Within Europe a bank transfer is also no problem.
How do you send the trophy?
The trophies and certificates are carefully packed and sent as packages with tracking.
What criteria does the jury use?
The jury members are experienced designers from all over the world. Many jury members have won awards at previous Wolda Awards. They share their entire expertise with the jury.
Christian Baun, Wolda jury member, writes the following about logo design:
“A great logo consists of three core elements,
1) it must have a unique idea which is relevant and original
2) it must clearly communicate the identity of the company or organisation and
3) it must be designed/crafted perfectly.
When these three elements are combined as simple and flexible as possible you can create a great logo. It almost becomes an art form.”
These three criteria – unique idea, clear transmission of the company identity and perfect design execution – are applied to all categories of the Wolda.
