WOLDA – Worldwide Logo Design Award
WOLDA is a global competition for logos, brand identities and packaging. Its aim is to showcase outstanding design and trends on an annual basis.
An independent competition
The competition is independent. That is why there are no sponsors and no advertising partners. WOLDA is funded exclusively through entry fees.
Designers, agencies and studios from all over the world are invited
WOLDA aims to enable as many designers, agencies and studios from all over the world as possible to take part. That is why the fees are not particularly high.
A global competition has an international jury
The jury comprises experienced logo, identity and packaging specialists from all over the world. They have successfully submitted their work to WOLDA and, in many cases, to numerous other competitions. Many of them have secured commissions in many countries.
History
WOLDA was founded in Milan in 2006. It took place annually until 2010, and a total of four yearbooks were published. After that, WOLDA was put on hold. In 2018, it was restarted very successfully and has since been held annually once again. It is organised by the “International Editorial Design & Research Forum”, which is based in Germany.
