Mauro Pastore

Founding Partner and President of Eulda Books, Milan
Mauro started his career in 1988 and is now founding partner, creative and design director of Cacao Design. The firm’s work has achieved international recognition from Novum, Kak, Red-Dot, ADCI, How, ReBrand, TDC, Logolounge, D&AD, ED-Awards. Also worth noting is the gold medal received at the Sappi 2007 Printers of the Year Award for the calendar designed for Fontegrafica. But Mauro has been appearing in international Design Annuals since 1991, starting with an Honorable Mention from the Art Directors Club of Europe.
Between 1997 and 2002 he spent one or two months each year as a Senior Designer for bakerbuilds.com (Los Angeles) and muccadesign.com (New York).
In 2006, together with his Cacao Design partners, he set up Eulda Books. This is the company behind Wolda, the Worldwide Logo Design Annual (formerly the European Logo Design Annual), an innovative award scheme and publication promoting creative excellence in graphic design.
Mauro served on the jury for ReBrand 2007, an international design competition, together with a panel of brand experts from around the world.
He is a professional member of the following associations: Aiap (Associazione Italiana per la Comunicazione Visiva), TDC (Type Directors Club) and AIGA (the professional association for design).
Masa Magnoni

Masa is a founding partner, creative and design director of Cacao Design. The firm’s work has achieved international recognition from Novum, Kak, Red-Dot, ADCI, How, ReBrand, TDC, Logolounge, D&AD, ED-Awards. Also worth noting is the gold medal received at the Sappi 2007 Printers of the Year Award for the calendar designed for Fontegrafica.
He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera and has a wide-ranging experience in the artistic and cultural spheres. For example, he was involved in the restoration of the cloister of Santa Maria delle Grazie church in Milan and the bas-reliefs at the Villa d’Este in Como. He has also designed sets for theatre group Quellidigrock, and created a series of one-off watches for Lorenz using recycled materials.
From 1991 to 1993, Masa worked for Franco Gaffuri Comunicazione on stand design, architectural projects, design objects, and new packaging solutions.
In 1993, he was one of the founding partners of Inox Design, where he worked in both graphic and industrial design.

Alessandro Floridia

Alessandro was born in Milan in 1975. After studying graphic design for publishing and advertising at Milan’s AFGP and Istituto Caterina di Siena respectively, he started work with Continuum Design Italia before moving to Franco Gaffuri Comunicazione and then Inox Design, where he became Art Director in 1999. Over the next few years, he also worked on several books in the “Street Design File” series published by Kyoichi Tsuzuki. Since 2001, his work in Milan has been complemented by a role as Senior Freelance Designer for Mucca Design, New York, thanks to a kind of partnership involving the continual exchange of designers.
In 2003, along with Masa Magnoni and Mauro Pastore, he became one of the co-founders of Cacao Design. The firm’s work has achieved international recognition from Novum, Kak, Red-Dot, ADCI, How, ReBrand, TDC, Logolounge, D&AD, ED-Awards.
